About Play Ball USA...
Today, Play Ball USA is the area's premier indoor baseball and softball training facility focused on player assessment and development. We provide customized personal instruction to players of all ages and skill level, as well as team instruction. We have a select group of experienced instructors, from both professional and collegiate backgrounds, who share our passion and vision. In addition to developing athletes' skills, we emphasize the importance of having fun, building players' confidence, and teaching the game in a way that players can relate to and understand.
Play Ball USA's curriculum was developed over five years ago in Ron Cacini's back yard! Combining his background as a former Houston Astros minor leaguer, three-year coach with the DePaul University Women's Softball program, and his experience as a Masters degreed middle school Physical Education teacher, he began providing instruction to area athletes in his back yard batting cage. After achieving successful results, and building up his clientele to over 200 players, he turned this dream into reality by opening Play Ball USA in 2002.
