Luis Saldaña (‘Coach Louie’), grew up in Chicago where he began his baseball career. After an attempt at professional baseball, Coach Louie began his softball career in 1992 playing for major teams such as Aurora Dolan Murphy (Illinois), Pete's Blues (St, Louis), Fedlock (Washington DC), and Dominican Republic (USA National Team). Throughout his 32-year playing career, he has competed among the best male Fastpitch players in the world. He has competed in 17 ISC World Tournaments, 16 USA National Tournaments, and 7 AAU International Championships. Coach Louie has just recently started coaching High School Baseball and hopes to start working with future softball players where he can share his expertise in pitching and hitting.
